Robot Lawn Mowers
The wire-free generation is here — no buried cable, no antenna in the yard. Our cornerstone review covers the Mammotion Luba 3 AWD (all-wheel drive) 1500, the machine that mows our own lawn, plus a head-to-head of the five flagships.
Fall · Winter
Robot Snowblowers
One machine that mows in July and blows snow in January? That's the Yarbo promise. We dig into what it actually delivers — including the reliability record the marketing skips.
Spring · Summer
Robot Pool Cleaners
Cordless convenience vs. the corded old guard. Beatbot, Aiper, and the Dolphin Nautilus CC go head to head — with the review-trust caveats this category desperately needs.
Why trust this site?
Because the person writing it mows his own lawn with a Mammotion Luba 3 AWD 1500. Not a press loaner for a weekend — a machine bought with his own money, set up by hand, running on a real yard with real trees, real slopes, and real problems.
For everything else, we do the deep research most sites skip: manufacturer specs checked against independent reviews and owner forums, hype called out by name, and every "who should buy this" verdict earned. When a $6,000 robot has a rough reliability record, you'll read about it here.

Heads up: the links below are affiliate links — they cost you nothing extra and keep the site running. Full disclosure.
Best overall mower
Mammotion Luba 3 AWD 1500
No wire, no antenna, no base station — just LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging — laser mapping) and cameras that keep working under tree canopy where satellite-guided rivals lose signal. $2,399.
All-season platform
Yarbo Core + Snow Blower
One tracked chassis, swappable modules: mower in summer, 24-inch snow blower in winter. Brilliant concept — but read our reliability section before spending $6,199.
Best pool value
Dolphin Nautilus CC
Corded, unglamorous, and the proven value benchmark at $699. No app, no Wi-Fi — just a cleaner that works, year after year.
Quiet enough to forget it's working
Here's the thing nobody puts in the ads: a battery robot mower has no engine — just small electric motors — so it doesn't sound like a lawn mower at all. Our owner's report from his own yard: standing outside while his Luba 3 mows, he can barely hear it. It won't annoy the neighbors, and it won't wake anyone if it runs at night — the laser-guided models navigate in the dark just as happily as at noon. And since it runs on a schedule, the lawn gets mowed while you're inside watching TV, at work, or asleep. You don't mow anymore; the lawn just stays mowed.
The other thing nobody warns you about: people stop to watch. Drivers slow down, walkers pause, neighbors drift over with questions. Our owner calls his mower the best way he's found to meet the neighborhood — read the full story in his review.
